Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi, Senior Special Assistant to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Media, has said the current deployment of ultramodern security equipment and the use of non-kinetic measures by the Federal Government have resulted in the reduction of recurring security challenges across Nigeria, particularly in some vulnerable areas of the northwest.

Dingyadi, a veteran journalist, politician, and public affairs commentator, in a statement on Monday, said that insecurity remains a source of serious concern to the Federal Government and other critical stakeholders.

According to him, the Federal Government has been doing its best to reverse the trend of insecurity in Zamfara, Kaduna, Kebbi, Katsina, and Sokoto States, which constitute the epicentre of banditry in the country.

The SSA added that the Federal Government and various security agencies are making concerted efforts to safeguard the lives and property of law-abiding citizens.

While deploring the activities of criminal elements across the country, he expressed optimism that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

He also urged the Governors to face the issues of insecurity and the provision of basic social services to the citizens with greater commitment to duty, good governance and fairness.

The media Aide further commended the efforts of the APC National Working Committee under the leadership of Prof. Nentawe in providing an enabling environment of true leadership, respect and reconciliation to all party members towards sustaining discipline, cohesion and unity in the party despite some challenges after Congresses.

He assured Nigerians that the APC and its candidates at all levels will never disappoint the nation when given another opportunity in 2027.

Doing so, Dingyadi noted, would ensure the consolidation of the renewed hope of Mr President and current tangible giant strides by all the APC flag bearers at various levels across the country.
